Dr. Tracy L. West is an award-winning executive, educator, and organizational consultant with over 20 years of leadership experience in higher education and business management. A visionary strategist, Dr. West specializes in leading institutional transformation, fostering inclusive cultures, and driving operational excellence.
As past President & CEO of the University of Antelope Valley and former Campus President at Concorde Career College and DeVry University, Dr. West has a proven track record of revitalizing organizations. Her leadership achievements include securing $2.1M in funding, reducing operational costs by $1.4M, and achieving a 94% student satisfaction rate while significantly lowering employee turnover. She is renowned for her ability to build high-performing teams, enhance stakeholder engagement, and develop culturally responsive organizational strategies.
In addition to her executive roles, Dr. West is an accomplished educator, serving as Adjunct Faculty at Keck Graduate Institute, California Baptist University, and Westcliff University, where she teaches Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and Nonprofit Management. She is also the founder and CEO of Stay Positive – Stay Inspired Consulting, where she delivers leadership development programs, strategic planning retreats, and entrepreneurship workshops with a focus on empowering women of color.
Dr. West’s thought leadership extends to publications and public speaking. She is the author of “From Aspiration to Achievement” and a sought-after speaker on topics of leadership, organizational change, and equity in business. An active community leader, Dr. West serves as a Partner with Black Leaders Worldwide and a Judge for Virtual Enterprises International. She is a committed advocate for education, economic empowerment, and creating pathways for underrepresented entrepreneurs.
