Dr. Sharon S. Lewis is a globally recognized leadership strategist and the Founder & CEO of The BE LED Group, a leadership consulting and development firm equipping organizations and individual leaders with the skills, clarity, and confidence required to drive culture, performance, and results. With more than 30 years of executive, operational, and entrepreneurial leadership experience, she brings a rare combination of strategic insight, theoretical and research-based rigor, practical application, and lived leadership wisdom to every engagement.
Before launching The BE LED Group fulltime, Dr. Sharon led at scale across healthcare, hospitality, human services, corporate (private and public), and nonprofit sectors. She made history as the founder and CEO of the first African American–owned multisite outpatient neurological rehabilitation company in the United States, a milestone that continues to shape her commitment to developing leaders who break ceilings rather than inherit them.
As a former architect of global leadership development with Sodexo Live! and a Vice President of Training and Leadership Development with a Chick-Fil-A organization, Dr. Sharon has designed and governed programs that strengthened culture, increased retention, and elevated leadership capability across North America and beyond.
Today, The BE LED Group partners with corporations, government agencies, mission driven institutions, and leaders at every level to close the most persistent leadership gaps: self awareness, emotional intelligence, communication, accountability, conflict navigation, and the ability to develop others. Her approach ensures leaders are not only inspired but equipped with tools they can apply immediately.
A published author and coauthor of the #1 BestSeller “The Essential Soft Skills of Effective Leadership”, Dr. Sharon has been featured in US Business Insider, CEO Weekly, NY Weekly, and GLEBM Magazine. Her contributions have earned various distinctions including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, The Black Wall Street Award, and global recognition for her impact on leadership development.
