Dr. Michele D. Clark, LMSW is the CEO and Founder of LIFT After Breast Cancer®, a transformational platform dedicated to empowering high-performing breast cancer survivors to Live Inspired, Free & Transformed. A licensed mental health therapist, speaker, and survivorship development leader, she brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work, creating spaces where women can heal beyond the physical and rise into aligned leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Social Work, and has been awarded an honorary doctorate (PhD, h.c.) in Entrepreneurship & Business Administration in recognition of her transformative impact and leadership.
Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, Dr. Clark’s journey reshaped not only her life, but her mission. She recognized that while treatment addresses the body, many women are left navigating identity, confidence, body image, and purpose on their own. Through her signature LIFT™ framework, she guides women through a powerful process of rediscovery, helping them reconnect with who they are, redefine beauty on their own terms, and step fully into the life they are meant to lead.
Dr. Clark is known for curating elevated, transformational experiences that go beyond awareness, creating meaningful shifts in how women see themselves and show up in the world. Her work bridges personal healing with professional presence, supporting women who are strong for everyone else but ready to prioritize their own alignment, voice, and visibility.
She is a board member with Susan G. Komen and has been consecutively recognized by Black Leaders Worldwide™ as a Women to Watch honoree in 2025 and 2026, previously named a Woman You Need to Know in 2024, and featured in Who’s Who in Black Detroit. In December 2024, she was honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her sustained commitment to service and impact.
Through her work, Dr. Clark is not only changing lives, she is leading the movement to redefine the standard of beauty, leadership, and survivorship for women around the world.
