Dr. De'Anjelo Bradley Named On Black Impact Magazine's 26 Of 2026 Men Of Impact List, Receives Cover Honor

Dr. De’Anjelo Bradley is a distinguished U.S. Air Force veteran, fire service leader, inventor, VA accredited Claims Agent, author, and humanitarian whose life reflects resilience, innovation, and service. Born in December 1983 in Urbana, Illinois, and shaped by humble beginnings, he transformed adversity into fuel for excellence, becoming a global leader in fire protection, occupational safety, veteran advocacy, and organizational leadership.

From 2004 to 2014, Dr. Bradley served as a contract and combat firefighter across Ecuador, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait. During Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn, he became the youngest African American Fire Chief of Prevention and Operations for the entire country of Iraq and served as Regional Fire Chief for central Iraq. He holds the prestigious Chief Fire Officer credential from the Center for Public Safety Excellence and is a Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers.

Academically accomplished, Dr. Bradley earned an advanced associate degree in Municipal Fire Protection from Oklahoma State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Response Administration with Magna Cum Laude honors, a Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health with Summa Cum Laude honors from Columbia Southern University, and a Doctorate in Occupational Safety and Health with honors from Capitol Technology University. He is a published author in peer reviewed journals and the author of multiple books focused on leadership, resilience, diversity, and fire science.

As an innovator, Dr. Bradley is the inventor of The Guardian Angel Device and founder of Gabriel Technologies LLC, a company dedicated to developing life enhancing and protective technologies. His work blends safety science, human performance, and practical application to create solutions that protect lives and empower communities.

In addition, Dr. Bradley serves as a VA accredited Claims Agent, Accreditation Number 59836, POA Code KN8, where he advocates for veterans seeking service connected disability benefits. Drawing from his own military and combat fire service experience, he assists veterans in developing strong, evidence based claims in accordance with federal regulations, ensuring they receive the benefits they have earned through sacrifice and service. He is also the CEO of The Planned Purpose Program, a 501c3 organization dedicated to empowering youth through mentorship, education, and leadership development.
