Nkanta (Nick) Hines, Sr. is an award-winning executive coach, consultant, and transformational leader with over 29 years of experience driving organizational excellence and leading change. As Chief Operating Officer at The Wound Pros, he oversees enterprise operations with a sharp focus on performance improvement, scalable innovation, and the development of engaged, high-performing teams.
Since 2008, Hines has served as President and CEO of Capital Strategy Group, LLC, providing leadership development, executive coaching, and strategic advisory services to organizations across a wide range of industries. Renowned for his ability to catalyze transformation, he blends emotional intelligence, dynamic communication, and practical strategy to help leaders achieve bold outcomes and navigate complex challenges.
A master facilitator, Hines challenges conventional thinking and fosters inclusive dialogue through his expertise in project management, process improvement, and strategic planning. His influence extends beyond the boardroom—serving as an adjunct faculty member with the Virginia Community College Workforce Alliance, a board member of GlobalMindED, and an advisory board member for Seton Hall University’s “Transformative Leadership” program.
Hines holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia State University, a Master of Science from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and a Master of Business Administration from Averett University. He has also earned executive certifications in Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion, and High-Performance Leadership from Cornell University and is a certified Executive Coach through the NeuroLeadership Institute. With more than 25 years of experience practicing Lean Six Sigma, he brings a rare blend of technical acumen, academic rigor, and people-centered leadership to every challenge.
A connector, advocate, and force for positive change, Hines is passionate about empowering organizations and individuals alike to rise to their highest potential. He is a lifelong member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, a dedicated sports enthusiast, and an avid golfer. He resides in Richmond, Virginia, with his college sweetheart and wife, Sherri Hines. Together, they are the proud parents of twins: Sydney and Nkanta Jr. (NJ).
