Lori Smith stands at the forefront of government contracting and business transformation as CEO of Acu-Elligent. With a career spanning over twenty years, Lori has become a trusted advisor and trailblazer, guiding organizations through the complex landscape of federal procurement and compliance. Her leadership and impact were recognized with the prestigious 2024 FORUM Women in Leadership Award, and she serves as an advisor to the University of North Georgia’s Women in Leadership Program, mentoring the next generation of women executives.
Lori’s federal service journey included oversight of a $128 billion contract portfolio, earning her multiple honors such as the Meritorious Service Medal and Air Force Commendation Medal. She holds a BS from Troy University, an MS in Education from the University of Oklahoma, and an MA in Business from the University of Phoenix and is currently a doctoral candidate at National University. As a certified FAC-C Level III professional and Personality Assessment Evaluator, Lori brings expertise in organizational development, strategic planning, and executive coaching.
