Kamar R. Jones is the Founder and Managing Partner of PPI Capital, a private equity firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, focused on acquiring and scaling junior mining companies. With a disciplined investment strategy and hands-on operational leadership, PPI Capital delivers value by enhancing asset performance and executing targeted exits—often within 18 months—driving significant returns for investors.

Kamar brings over two decades of experience across management consulting and capital markets. He spent 20 years in the management consulting sector, where he led high-impact engagements generating over $500 million in measurable benefits for clients. His work spans manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals, with a focus on sales effectiveness, commercial strategy, operations, maintenance and reliability, procurement, logistics, and warehousing. His results-driven approach has helped transform some of the most operationally complex businesses globally.

Before his consulting career, Kamar spent eight years in capital markets, developing deep expertise in financial structuring, equity markets, and strategic investment analysis. These experiences laid the groundwork for his work in private equity, where he combines strategic acumen with operational execution.

Kamar also served as a U.S. Army Officer, where he developed leadership, discipline, and mission-driven thinking that continues to define his approach to business.

In addition to his role at PPI Capital, Kamar currently serves on the Board of Directors of Pelangio Exploration Inc., a gold exploration company publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). Since his appointment, Pelangio’s share price has increased fourfold, reflecting strong strategic progress and renewed investor confidence.

Kamar lives in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife. Together they have four children and four grandchildren, and they enjoy the company of their loyal family dog. Outside of business, Kamar is dedicated to family, mentorship, and building legacy through leadership and service.
