Dr. Regina Miller Nadir named on Black Impact Magazine's 100 Entrepreneurs To Know.

Dr. Nadir has served individuals in various capacities since 1997. She gravitated towards the field of social work because there is such a need to help others grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and mentally. Dr. Nadir is challenged to assist others who may not be operating at their highest/fullest potential due to complex trauma and obstacles that have hindered them. Dr. Nadir is an alumnus of Morgan State University, obtaining a Bachelor’s in Psychology and her Master of Social Work from Howard University, and proudly uplifts the tenets of these illustrious institutions. She rounded off her academic career by receiving her Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from the University of Southern California.


Dr. Nadir worked in the public-school setting for 17 years, in nonpublic schools for 5 years, supervised staff, clinical professionals and interns, and was a consultant for multiple nonprofit and for-profit organizations to serve the needs of youth and their families throughout her career. Dr. Nadir is a licensed clinical social worker and board-certified supervisor in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, and certified as a clinical social work manager. She is a trauma specialist, is EMDR trained, certified as a motivational interviewer, certified as an equitable and inclusive leader from the University of Pennsylvania, certified as a Woman entrepreneur through E-Cornell University’s online platform, and a Culturally Responsive and Equitable Evaluator (CREE).


Dr. Nadir is a Go Grander award-winning clinician for her research and development of an online tool, Pieces to a Rose (P2R), which will increase positive relationships between staff and students in the academic environment. Her dissertation is entitled “Impact of Positive Student-Staff Relationships and the Social-Emotional Outcomes of Black High School Students Classified with an Emotional Disability” https://digitallibrary.usc.edu/Share/20tvd0228smw3shy1x1ho84emxc0xl56. She participated in the 2024 Milestones Circles program at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, was named an honored listee in Marquis Who’s Who 2024, and was named one of the Black Leaders Worldwide 2024 Women to Watch honorees. Because of her passion and drive, she has engaged with like-minded individuals and leaders across the globe, which afforded her opportunities to add to her craft and create opportunities to support individuals and organizations in need.
