Phenyx Consulting Founder Eric Pollard Named Finalist in Launch Pad Build Challenge for App Development

Atlanta, Georgia — Phenyx Consulting founder Eric Pollard has been named a finalist in the Launch Pad $25K Build Challenge for his Product Intelligence Platform™ (PIP™), an innovative business application concept designed to centralize product information and dramatically reduce the time required to create product documentation and sales materials, while transforming product data into actionable business intelligence that supports faster, more informed decision-making.

Pollard developed the concept after identifying a recurring challenge while supporting a consumer-

packaged goods (CPG) manufacturer. Product information was scattered across departments and documents, forcing employees to repeatedly search for and recreate information that already existed. To solve the problem, he designed an interactive Excel-based knowledge system that centralized

product information and reduced the time required to generate product specification sheets and other sales materials from approximately 30 minutes to just seconds.

“The problem wasn’t that we didn’t have the information,” said Pollard. “The problem was that the

information was everywhere. Teams were constantly recreating work that had already been done. I

realized there had to be a better way to centralize knowledge so people could spend less time searching and more time serving customers.”

What began as an internal productivity solution eventually evolved into the vision for PIP, a scalable business application designed to help companies centralize product knowledge, automate documentation, and transform product knowledge into actionable business intelligence.

Recognizing the platform's commercial potential beyond its original proof of concept, Pollard submitted PIP to the Launch Pad $25K Build Challenge, sponsored by MetaNeer Labs. The week-long competition invited entrepreneurs and business operators with validated ideas to compete for a fully funded, $25,000 software development sprint to transform their concepts into launch-ready web applications.

Selection as a finalist recognizes both the platform’s commercial potential and its ability to solve a

widespread operational challenge faced by manufacturers and CPG companies. Winners of the

competition will be announced in early August with the build beginning shortly thereafter.
