Norma Fay Nicholson Releases New Book "Uncaged: Freeing Black and Minority Youth from Criminalization"

Every year, hundreds of Black and other minority youth enter the justice system for delinquent behaviors that could have been prevented if parents knew how. "Uncaged: Freeing Black and Minority Youth from Criminalization" by author Norma Fay Nicholson, explores how we change that. Norma is the Founder and CEO of Youth Justice Education Services. She has worked as a nurse leader inside the system and knows firsthand the negative impacts that incarceration has on black youth and other minorities. She knows that justice begins with understanding and the willingness to change through education. Norma asks, "What are we willing to change to achieve a different outcome?'
