Marla J. Albertie, PhD, has lived on board a United States aircraft carrier, an experience that shaped her belief that she is, and always will be, unstoppable. A proud native of Jacksonville, Florida, she finds joy in reading, traveling, and shopping, with a special love for cruising—having embarked on 25 voyages and always keeping the next one on the horizon.

With over 30 years of experience, Marla is a certified career, executive, and life coach; an APTD-certified trainer; a Certified Chief Happiness Officer; a certified book publisher; and a Certified Positive Psychology Practitioner. She is a former director of human resources, a seasoned psychology instructor and facilitator, and an Amazon best-selling author. Her academic achievements include a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, a Master of Education in Adult Education, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management, and an Associate of Applied Science in Financial Services.

Marla has served on the board of FIOP and currently contributes to the National University Alumni Association board. She is an adjunct instructor at Southern New Hampshire University and an assistant professor at Colorado Technical University.
